American winery owners from coast to coast rely on\u00a0Process2Wine<\/strong>\u00a0winery management software to make each day run smoothly.<\/p>

Some wineries find Process2Wine through word of mouth. That includes Wes Jensen at\u00a0Sages Vintage<\/a>\u00a0in Nacogdoches, Texas, who says, \u201cI received a referral at a Texas trade show and was locked in after I found that\u00a0Process2Wine<\/strong>\u00a0could track and record all of the data for our custom crush winery and saw the price was right.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>

Most wineries undertake an in-depth evaluation of all the winery management software options before making a decision.<\/p>

One active daily user, Ruth Braida, an enologist at\u00a0Papagni Wines<\/a>\u00a0in Madera, California, says, \u201cAfter looking at all software providers like Innovint and AMS, I chose\u00a0Process2Wine<\/strong>\u00a0because it has all of the same functions as the others but costs a lot less. Plus, it has a better support system.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>

Zach Waltz, the associate winemaker at his family-owned\u00a0Waltz Vineyard Estate Winery<\/a>\u00a0in Manheim, Pennsylvania, tried out several other software packages, including Innovint, before choosing\u00a0Process2Wine<\/strong>. His reason? \u201cI chose\u00a0Process2Wine\u00a0<\/strong>because winemaking is a complex task and its technological capabilities and features gave me more options, and the price was more reasonable than all the others.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

AJ Greely, winemaker and cellarmaster at\u00a0Hark Vineyards<\/a>\u00a0in Earlysville, Virginia, agreed. She chose\u00a0Process2Wine<\/strong>\u00a0software for her 5000 case production winery because it was easier to use than the other providers and was built for small to medium-sized wineries.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Once the decision about software is made,\u00a0Process2Wine<\/strong>\u00a0users dive into integrating the features they need most into their daily workflow.<\/p>

Ruth finds the software helpful in calculating the proportions of varietals, appellations and vintages while blending wines for her many custom crush clients. \u201cIt\u2019s a lot of work when you have a lot of little blends<\/em>\u201d, she explains, \u201cespecially when the lees tank has a ton of little bits of everything at the end of crush.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>

As another custom crush winemaker, Wes spends most of his time on a forklift pulling bins of fruit and weighing them for the 15,000 cases his customers need this year. He loves using the mobile version to track his data, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t have to get off the forklift to plug in the numbers, making it easy to track weight as I go.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>

AJ concurs with Wes on the value of tracking data in real-time; for her, that means\u00a0Process2Wine\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0ease of use when monitoring density and temperature during fermentation and reviewing grape composition for the various blends she\u2019s putting together.<\/p>

She adds, \u201cI love being able to go back in and see everything laid out from when we picked to when we bottled \u2013 that\u2019s just genius. Plus, TTB reporting with\u00a0Process2Wine<\/strong>\u00a0is so much easier!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>

Like AJ, Zach loves using the software to track the inventory of all his ingredients. It makes it easy to know precisely what is on hand, what he needs to buy, and what he has used in the past.<\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0The best feature is being able to look back on historical data to review the decisions I\u2019ve made for past batches both good and bad<\/em>\u201d he says. \u201cI always learn from how those batches turned out.
